This patient went through Orthotropics in our office. Her upper jaw was expanded and moved forward to make space without the need of extractions or retraction that causes the airway to become smaller. This treatment has improved her smile as well as her airway and facial growth.
Starting Orthotropics at an early age can avoid the need for orthodontics in the future. This patient had a classIII (underbite) and was treated with Biobloc Orthotropics at age 7. Treatment was completed within 24 months. This patient is unlikely to need orthodontic treatment in the future.
