At Living Wellness Dental in Calgary, Alberta, we believe in a biological and holistic approach to professional dental care. Only the safest, biocompatible materials and techniques provide the least invasive and conservative treatments for our patients’ optimal oral health and overall wellness.
For patients who may be dealing with misalignment of their teeth and jaws or who wish to straighten their teeth, we offer two options that are alternatives to conventional wire-and-bracket metal braces.
BioBloc Orthotropics addresses abnormal jaw development by training and guiding the jaws into the ideal forward or horizontal growth.
Invisalign invisible alignment trays straighten teeth smoothly without wires and brackets. Some patients prefer this treatment and notice it reduces irritation of the cheeks and gums, traps fewer food particles that can lead to plaque build-up, and hamper appropriate oral hygiene.
With more than ten years of proven success, the Invisalign Alignment System offers many benefits, including:
- Discreet, virtually undetectable treatment
- A confident, beautiful smile
- Removable trays allow for proper periodontal care and cleaning
- Smooth and comfortable alignment trays that won’t cut or rub against soft tissues in the mouth or gums or hinder speech
- Patients can eat or drink what they want without any food restrictions
- Eliminates the risk of tooth breakage
- Achieves results in about 12 months in most cases when the trays are worn 22 hours a day

How it works
After a comprehensive consultation to determine that Invisalign is the recommended treatment, images of the patient’s teeth will be taken, and the clear, plastic alignment trays will be custom-made. New trays will be used every two weeks to shift teeth gradually and gently into the desired position.
Living Wellness Dental has served patients from Calgary, Airdrie, Canmore, Red Deer, and surrounding communities. We provide a comprehensive array of family, general, holistic, biological, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, along with prevention and treatment of gum disease, extractions, cleaning, and oral health screening.
