What is Solea® Laser?
The Solea® All-Tissue Laser is a dental technology unlike any other. It’s a CO2 laser that allows for anesthesia-free, blood-free, and often pain-free procedures in hard and soft tissue. The laser vaporizes target tissue using light, without contact whether it is tooth, bone or gum. It is guided by sophisticated computers to deliver delicate dental procedures for both teeth and gums from simple cavities to complex surgeries.
This new technology represents a major leap forward in dentistry, as we are able to treat multiple sites in your mouth and soft tissue procedures in a single appointment. That means no more numb cheeks, lips and jaw muscles. Do I really not need a needle?
With Solea, 95% of routine procedures are done without anesthesia. This means less anxiety, less discomfort, and no numbness or swelling. In some cases where clients present heightened levels of sensitivity, anesthetic may be required. Under normal circumstances, the Solea® Laser uses a wavelength of light delivered in thousands of pulses per second that provides an analgesic effect that takes away almost all of the sensation.
